Imam Zaid is a cofounder and senior faculty member of Zaytuna College. He has taught courses in Arabic, Islamic spirituality, contemporary Muslim thought, Shafi’i fiqh, Islamic history and politics. He speaks and writes on a wide range of topics and has become a voice of conscience for American Muslims as well as people of other faiths. He is regularly included as one of the Western world’s most influential Muslim scholars in The Muslim 500, an annual ranking edited by John Esposito and Ibrahim Kalin. He is also one of the signatories of "A Common Word Between Us and You," an open letter by Islamic scholars to Christian leaders that calls for peace and mutual understanding. Imam Zaid is a signatory along with religious and spiritual leaders from around the world who presented the UN Secretary General with a declaration in support of the Paris Climate Agreement under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, marking the largest number of nations ever signing an international agreement. In 2018, CNN listed Imam Zaid among 25 influential American Muslims.

Nader is a Canadian singer-songwriter, recording artist, producer, arts educator, and musicologist, with a specific focus on traditional and contemporary Islamic devotional/Sufi music. Over the last 25 years, he has toured and performed across the world (Canada, United States, Mexico, South Africa, United Kingdom, Norway, Guyana, Trinidad, Australia, Malaysia, and Singapore), in solo performances, and on tours with other internationally renowned artists. Nader has also spearheaded various social justice initiatives that promote local and international relief efforts through Islamic devotional music, arts, and youth engagement.

Nader is also an executive producer for STORIES FROM THE SEERAH, a new podcast covering the entire Seerah of The Prophet (ﷺ) in a rarely-experienced level of detail, expertly narrated by the renowned Seerah teacher, Dr. Bano Murtuja. Bano has studied the obligatory (fardh) Islamic sciences as well as generic topics for almost 20 years; but her primary passion remains the life and times of the Prophet ﷺ, the Seerah, which she  has studied, and taught, throughout this time. 

In 2022 Bano travelled to Tarim in Yemen and studied over 15 classic texts with various scholars in Tarim.  Leaving a large part of her heart in Tarim, she returned to Canada in May 2023. 

Professionally, after graduating in law, Bano earned an MA in politics and completed her doctoral studies in sociology and social policy in 2005.  Bano has founded and run multiple companies over the last two decades, the core aim of each one has been to make a positive social change. 

In 2011, after migrating to Canada, she co-founded SeekersHub with Shaykh Faraz Rabbani and her husband Nader Khan. After the birth of her first daughter Bano left the Hub, and in 2013, she and Nader established First Spring; an organisation that seeks to teach and promote Islam through the arts. She continues to serve as the Executive Director of First Spring. 

In 2019, Bano, Nader and Tariq Toure wrote and performed in The Last Prophet ﷺ, a Musical Monologue that intends to take the life of the Prophet ﷺ to mainstream theatre. The project was put on hold due to Covid and Bano’s travel, but will, God willing, be resumed with a US tour in 2024. Bring the Last Prophet ﷺ to a theatre near you.

In 2021 Bano launched Stories From the Seerah ﷺ, a podcast on the life and times of the Prophet ﷺ. The podcast is listened to in over 20 countries around the world. 

Passionate about ensuring Islamic Learning is accessible to all, Bano has rendered Contemplating the Quran authored by Shaykh Ahmed Saad into an audiobook.  This is the first of many traditional books she hopes to render into an audiobook format, to make them accessible to those with visual impairments. Mohammed Isaaq is the founder and principal instructor at Claritas Universal and the Knowing Yourself personal development programmes and brand. The mentioned, focuses on professional CPD and PDP training through the science of the four temperaments. His programmes cover a range of topics including self-knowledge, strength based training, learning styles, relationships dynamic, mental pitfalls, emotional intelligence, motivations, fears, communication and much more.  

After having graduated in engineering whilst maintaining part time youth work, Mohammed went onto completing his Postgraduate studies in Education fulfilling his passions in becoming a Mathematics teacher. He then furthered his education in various sciences including branches of philosophy, psychology, theology, logic, and language studies in Jordan. Returning back to the UK, he then studied with the college of Medicine and Healing Arts along with studies in counselling furthering his specialism of behavioural intelligence through the science of the temperaments. 

Over the years, Mohammed has also created, developed and delivered a number of successful youth projects in the UK and on a national level. The success of these projects has then lead him to deliver TTC programmes internationally.

His experience and current qualifications include being a qualified secondary school teacher, educational consultant and personal/professional development specialist. All this allows him to bring a unique vision and approach into the delivery of his professional workshops.

Having a strong academic and professional background in education Mohammed is passionate about further developing and supporting teachers in their pedagogical techniques and journeys.
